Various titles are available in game. For most characters you may choose and use titles as you acquire them. In the Red Eclipse however, we do have a standard operating rule regarding Sith titles. Specifically: Apprentice, Lord and Darth
All sith recruits who join the guild will be issued a Master. This is a fellow character of the same class who hold's either the title of Darth or Lord. This handler will be responsible for making sure you meet the standards of our guild. Now as you progress in your class quests you will eventually unlock both the Lord and Darth titles.
No apprentice is permitted to wear the title of LORD or DARTH until they have been tested by either their Master or by Xukuthe'l himself. Just because you completed your class quests does not mean you have earned the title within our guild. The testing will vary between the masters to determine if you may proceed, however one thing will remain constant.
You may ONLY wield the title of DARTH when you are able to defeat your handler in One on One combat. There will be few exceptions to this rule (In the instance of a non-subscriber who is unable to reach 55 for example). As we are sith, we follow the sith ways. The sith follow the rule of one. One master. One apprentice. An apprentice only becomes a master when he has killed the who has trained him and taken the title for himself.
Any sith seen wielding titles unearned will be subject to severe IC punishment including but not limited to violent torture and death.
