Greetings, this must be said:
This is a role play - pvp guild. Some of you are just here for the pvp, which is fine because that means you just stay in the warzone and pvp.
But the majority of you are here to join a pvp-rp guild, so it is most appreciated if you remained in character 95% of the time.
If you speak out of character don't forget to put brackets ((Like this)) around what you are saying out of character, or keep it in party chat, and stick to role play the remainder of the time.
We don't want to seem like exclusive elitists, but we prefer when you role play you type everything out. For example:
Unacceptable: "Hi what would u like 2 do 2day"
Acceptable: "Hello there, what would you like to do today?"
The reason you must strive to make sure you are grammatically correct is because when it is just online, no one can hear someone speak, and they have no gestures... if you type simply, those who read it will get the impression you are simple. In other words if you type with too many abbreviations and short hand, people will assume your character sounds like Tanto from the lone ranger ("Me see farmer in field.")
Because of that, your character will not invoke fear, and will not be taken seriously. The more you take the time to type correctly, the easier it gets.
Because of recent events and complaints, the attempt to type grammatically correct and to stay in character as best you can is required to be a part of this guild. Sorry to be that way, but it's for your own good. If English is not your first language, please say something.
And please...don't spend too much time in the general channel, that's the troll channel.
