Here is an idea on how to recruit quality personnel to the Red Eclipse.
So when you start a flashpoint ask the new group if they would like to participate in a Role Play flashpoint. What that means is everyone in the squad has to speak and act in character and only the Group Leader gives order on what the group should do. Also if the group leader does not wish to give orders or is unable to be a truly efficient leader the group can vote for a new leader, or use democracy to become truly effective remember someone may have a good idea so always give everyone a chance to talk. So if all members agree to run a role play flashpoint odds are they have given no idea on who their character is other than the class he/she is and that they want power. So we have to help them come up with some basic personalities for their "newly" acquired characters. I think the best way to come help them out (I think) is to demonstrate what a starting player (background) is like by explaining some of our characteristics (please just 1 or 2 things only) this will be the best way to see who is a potential role playing member or who could care less. If someone has name like Dirtygirl69 or Big*&^*% then obviously they are not serious about role playing and should not receive an invite we are not a guild full of child delinquents. There is a noticeable difference between cleverly devilish or maniacally evil, than immature stupidity. So while you all are running through the flashpoint judge your squad mates roleplaying ability and combat skill. The scale goes from 1-10 and all new recruits must be a good enough role player and combatant. So do not be afraid to be critical only the best make it in the Red Eclipse so they must score a score of 6 and above to be invited to the guild so good luck to you all and happy recruiting.
