Lately many of our members have been having a hard time trying to take a screenshot on SWTOR. Well here's instructions on how to do it.
1. Get yourself in the game.
2. Have your picture ready, whether a place showing on your screen or a full view of your character.
3. There's a button next to the F12 called Prt Sc, just press it and automatically what was on your view screen is now a picture in your documents. It will be in a folder with the name of the game on it.
And that's it. Now, if anyone is interested, I'm going to teach on how to make a profile pic for your avatar.
1. Do the instructions from above, but the picture must show your character. Whether it's him/her doing something or the character being shown in the character select menu.
2. Click on the picture, and it should be opened up with Windows Live Photo Gallery.
3. Once opened, click edit and it will take you to the editing part of Photo Gallery.
4. Select the picture again and click on the crop button.
5. Correct the box's outline to how you want the picture to be shown.
6. Click crop again, close file, and presto! Your profile pic is ready.
I hope this will help anyone with taking screenshots, as well as making profile pics.
